Complete Head Stud and Gasket Kits for 5.9L Cummins Diesels

This kit is intended to fit the 5.9L Cummins diesel engine and includes the following components:
  • ARP Head Stud Kit (ARP2000)
  • 1.28mm MLS Head Gaskets by Mahle Motorsports
  • Cylinder Head Gasket Kit by Mahle Motorsports

For nearly 50 years, ARP has been the most trusted name in bullet-proof engine hardware by race professionals in NHRA, NASCAR, and Formula 1. ARP head studs are cold forged for molecular uniformity and then heat treated for strength before final machining and thread cutting. This precision process produces a head stud rated to 220,000 psi of clamping force, far outperforming any factory head bolt. The incredible strength of ARP head studs protects against accidental fretting between the cylinder head and engine block that could lead to potential engine failure or other damage. Each complete set comes with notched and hardened washers to ensure even clamping force and precise torque reading during assembly.

It's important to use the same head gasket thickness that came off your engine so this Heads Up kit also includes a 1.28mm head gasket made by Mahle Motorsport. These head gaskets are manufactured to precise OEM specifications using multi-layered steel construction, beaded seals around the combustion chambers, and micro polymer seals around the oil and water passages to prevent leaks due to imperfections in the sealing surfaces.

Each kit also includes a complete set of the required gaskets and o-ring seals for all components that attach to the Cummins cylinder head including the exhaust manifold, up pipe, upper and lower valve cover, along with valve cover grommets, valve seals, and turbo drain seals.
